Eberle-Hald
is a manufacturer and dealer of machinery for the construction industry and for industry generally, with 10 locations in southern Germany. The products are used on building sites across the whole region. And often procured centrally. But what do you do when the person who has the overview of stock levels is on a site in the middle of nowhere? That is why, together with our client, we developed the EH-Logibox. And the matching app to go with it. Which of course works in the middle of the city too ;-).
A box full of possibilities
The EH-Logibox is stocked individually with consumables and tools. And delivered straight to the building site. That way staff have everything they need in one place. Securely locked. Clearly arranged.
App-solutely simple – reordering
Reordering materials can now be done directly by the staff on site. All it takes is scanning the relevant QR code:
- QR code on the EH-Logibox = information on the location, contents, reorder volume, etc.
- QR code on the product = order, stating the quantity
- On the order overview – place order
- Done
Billing then runs through the respective company on the basis of customer-specific prices, fully automated. On request, Eberle-Hald customers can also implement an order approval process.
No internet connection? No problem.
If, contrary to expectations, there is no internet connection on the building site here in digital-nation Germany (wink wink), the order is sent as soon as the smartphone in question has a connection again.
Versatile: for the storage shelf too
The app has gone down so well with Eberle-Hald’s customers that it is now also used for managing and organising their warehousing.
